Questions, answered plainly.
How the studio works, what it costs, and what to expect — so you can decide whether to apply with everything in front of you.
The work
What exactly is the Boutique Launch?
A complete brand identity system and a five-page Shopify storefront, delivered in twenty-one days. That means logo and identity, palette, typography, art direction, and a store built to convert — not a theme with your colours dropped in.
What is included in the Brand & Boutique Audit?
A paid, high-taste teardown of your current brand and store, with a prioritised roadmap of what to change first and why. It is the natural way to begin, and it credits in full toward your Launch.
Do you offer branding without a website?
Rarely. The studio's position is that identity and storefront are one system — a beautiful identity on a storefront that undersells it does not solve the problem you came with. If your case is unusual, say so in your application.
Do you write the copy as well?
Yes. Every Launch includes the words on the page, written in your brand's voice. Copy is part of art direction, not an afterthought.
Investment
How much does it cost?
The Audit is €250–€600 and credits toward your Launch. The Boutique Launch is the studio's anchor offer — priced against the agencies charging forty thousand and taking months, not against marketplace freelancers. Your exact investment is confirmed after your application, once scope is clear.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, in two or three instalments across the project. We will set this out plainly in your proposal.
Why are you not the cheapest option?
Because the work is not the same work. A marketplace freelancer sells you files; the studio sells coherence — an identity and a store that let you charge what your product is worth. If price is the deciding factor, we are likely not the right fit, and that is a fair outcome for both of us.
Timeline & process
Can you really deliver a brand in 21 days?
Yes — because the scope is defined and the process is fixed. The twenty-one days begin once your assets and decisions are ready. What keeps a Launch on schedule is preparation before day one, and we tell you exactly what to prepare.
How much of my time will it take?
Less than you expect. A kickoff conversation, two feedback rounds, and prompt replies. The studio is designed so a founder can keep running her business while the house is built.
How many revisions are included?
Two considered rounds at defined stages. Rounds are structured rather than endless — unlimited revision is how projects lose their point of view.
When is the next available season?
The studio takes a small number of projects each season. Apply and we will tell you the next opening honestly, including if that means waiting.
Shopify & technical
Do you only work on Shopify?
Yes. Shopify is where founders in fashion, jewellery, beauty and home sell best, and building on one platform is precisely what allows the studio to deliver at this standard in twenty-one days.
Can you migrate my existing store?
Yes — products, collections and customers move across. We will confirm the specifics of your setup during the Audit.
Will I be able to edit the site myself?
Yes. Everything is built as editable Shopify sections, and you receive a walkthrough at handover. You will not need us to change an image or add a product.
Do you handle SEO?
The build is structured for it — clean headings, fast loading, proper metadata and a Journal designed to bring traffic. Ongoing content and strategy sit within the Maison Retainer.
Working together
Why is the studio application only?
Because a small number of projects each season is what keeps the standard where it is. Applying lets us confirm the fit before either of us commits — it is curation, not a queue.
What if my brand is very new?
That is often the ideal moment, provided you have a product and some signal that people want it. If you are pre-product, the Maison Method will serve you better than the service.
What happens after launch?
Many founders continue on the Maison Retainer — campaign visuals, seasonal drops and content art direction, so the brand grows without being rebuilt each season.
Begin with the Audit.
If your storefront undersells your product, the Audit tells you exactly what to change first — and credits toward your Launch.
